Georgian Interior Minister marks ‘Old New Year’ at occupation line

Georgian Interior Minister Giorgi Gakharia marked Orthodox New Year, which is also called ‘Old New Year’ in Georgia, at the occupation line, and wished ministry employees of the Special Tasks Department a happy year and gave them presents as well.

Gakharia first came to the Ganmukhuri village, near the Georgian occupied region of Abkhazia, and then visited posts in the villages of Rukhi, Kurcha and Pakhulani.

Gakharia also visited the Zugdidi police department.
