All visitors of airports in Tbilisi and Batumi will see a changed spelling of the capital of Ukraine, in addition to other Ukrainian citizens.
Formerly, the names of Ukrainian cities were written per the Russian style of transcription in the Latin alphabet.
Many people protested the writing manner on social media.
From now on, customers will see Kyiv, Lviv, Odesa and Kharkiv instead of Kiev, Lvov, Odessa and Kharkov at Tbilisi and Batumi airports.
