The process of getting water licenses for small and medium-size business owners will become easier, said Economy Minister Natia Turnava yesterday after the government meeting.
About 120 small and medium-size business owners will soon receive licenses for using technical water (water of a quality which is suitable for industrial use only, not for drinking or human use), said Turnava.
Turnava said that entrepreneurs in the past needed many bureaucratic procedures to use technical water even if they had wells on their territory, as receiving water use licenses was not an easy procedure. However, she noted that as of now, as the procedure will soon be made simpler, entrepreneurs will be able to use technical water in an easier fashion.
[By these simpler procedures] we are accelerating involving mineral resources in the economy, as this will promote economic growth with land reform and increased privatization,” said Turnava.
Turnava noted that resource reform will help business and said that implementing a single window principle is the confirmation that the government is fulfilling its promise and is implementing single window principle in many different sectors.
