Secretary General of the UN World Tourism Organization Zurab Pololikashvili has praised Georgia’s reforms in the tourism sector saying the country is among the world’s leaders in tourism while attending an international tourism fair in Spain.
Georgia’s position confirms that the country has become one of the leaders in the sector after several reforms,” he said, praising the government's efforts to maintain the country's leading position.
Minister of Foreign Affairs of Georgia David Zalkaliani also visited the fair where Georgia is represented with a special stand.
FITUR is one of the most important meeting points for tourism professionals and one of the leading trade fairs which is traditionally opened by the King of Spain.
