The Georgian GDP has increased 6.1% in July 2019, show the latest data from the National Statistics Office of Georgia (Geostat).
Geostat reports that GDP has grown 5.1% overall in January - July 2019.
In July 2019 the estimated real growth compared to the same period of the previous year was posted in the following activities: Construction, Manufacturing, Trade, Real estate, renting and business activities. A decrease was registered in Mining and quarrying and in Electricity, gas and water supply.
Exports have grown 12.4% in January - July 2019, reaching $2,102,200,000.
Meanwhile imports have dropped to $4,963,100,000 (4.7%), said Geostat.
Geostat data show that 4,152 new enterprises were registered in July, which is 0.5% more than the data from July 2018.
