Georgian Prime Minister Mamuka Bakhtadze wished Georgian citizens good health, success and lots of reasons for happiness in 2019.
He sent special wishes to those carrying out their duties last night, such as Georgian servicemen participating in international missions, doctors, policemen, servicemen, border guards, rescuers, while the whole country rang in 2019.

Bakhtadze wished a happy New Year to Georgian people living abroad. “We are sparing no effort to put in place all the necessary conditions for their return to the homeland as soon as possible”, said Bakhtadze.
I wish you a happy New Year with the hope that the next year will be successful for our country and for each of you… I wish a happy New Year to our Abkhaz and Ossetian compatriots! I truly believe that with joint efforts we will take a step for a better future”, said Bakhtadze in his New Year’s greeting.
Bakhtadze expressed hope that this year will be more successful for Georgia and its citizens.
I know many families still live in poverty … I assure you all our efforts are taken to overcome our most painful challenge – poverty. A new economic policy and fair rules that we have introduced will bring results and every family will feel positive changes”, said Bakhtadze.
Bakhtadze said that Georgia needs new ideas, a new vision, bold and fast solutions “and this energy is in our youth, they are the future of our country”, he said. He added that education will be the unconditional priority of the government of Georgia in 2019.
“We have all the resources to be a successful country where each family lives in dignity, I believe that 2019 will be a year of success and progress”, Bakhtadze said.
