A new student campus will be built in Tbilisi in the framework of new education reforms.
The campus will be built on 129,778 square meters of land in Didi Digomi on David Agmashenebeli Alley.
It will include scientific laboratories, a library, an art school, conference rooms, indoor recreational space, sport halls, outdoor stadiums, a residential campus and kindergarten.
Also, it will feature a science museum, natural science laboratories and techno park that will enable children to develop technical skills from an early age.
All this is being done for the future generation, to have as many educated young people as possible and then use their knowledge for the country’s well-being,” Tbilisi Mayor Kakha Kaladze said, promising the full support of Tbilisi City Hall for similar projects.
New education reforms aim to advance educational infrastructure, security, innovations and technologies, national exams, ensure quality in institutions of higher learning, financial support of institutions and implementing new models.
