Georgia received $138.4 million from abroad in March 2019, which is 4.5% more than the amount in March 2018, says the National Bank of Georgia.
Russia ($35.42 million), Italy ($18.95 million) and Greece ($15.95 million) were the largest remittance senders in March 2019.
Overall, the vast majority (93.6%) of all money transfers from abroad came from 17 countries.
