Georgia is launching two projects with the Organisation for Economic Co-operation and Development (OECD) – one will focus on Georgia’s investment environment while the second will discuss the holding of the forum in Georgia.
Georgia’s Economy Minister Giorgi Kobulia and the OECD Regional Director William Tompson discussed these two issues at yesterday’s meeting.
“We have discussed two important issues. One is about a big project which we are launching together with OECD and within which they will learn about the environment regarding foreign direct investments in our country and will help us attract significantly more investments. This project will be launched in 2019”, said Kobulia.
“The second issue is about holding the OECD Eurasia Week in Georgia. This will be a big honour for us and will help to popularise Georgia and especially among the business society”, he added.
