Georgia’s capital of Tbilisi will host the International Forum of Innovations for Hospitality and Tourism Industry, the Welcome Challenge on October 23-26 this year.
The International Forum of Innovations for Hospitality and Tourism Industry, the Welcome Challenge, is an annual event connecting investors and startup companies. It will be held in Tbilisi with the support of the Georgian National Tourism Administration.
The forum will bring together the most innovative startups in the field, the industry’s leading experts and representatives of major international corporations and financial companies looking for new investment opportunities.
Before the forum, a press conference was held today to discuss the details of the Welcome Challenge. During the conference a list of forum speakers and mentors was announced. Among the speakers are: The founder of National Geographic Traveller, Dawn Drew and TripAdvisor managers of Booking.com.
The forum will be also attended by industry executives and innovators from developed tourism destinations, global marketing and research professionals from multiple sectors and investors in the tourism and travel industry from the USA, Japan and Europe.
