Occupants kidnap 50-year-old man near the occupation line

Russia controlled forces have kidnapped another Georgian citizen from the village of Kribali in Gori municipality today.
50-year-old Akaki Dotiashvili has been detained for so called “illegally crossing the border” near the occupation line of Tskhinvali (South Ossetia).
The State Security Service said that the the European Union Monitoring Mission hotline has been enacted and the representatives of the monitoring mission have been informed about the illegal detention of the Georgian citizen.
37-year-old Georgian citizen Maia Otinashvili who was detained by Russia-controlled forces in the Tbilisi-administered Khurvaleti village near the occupation line on 29 September has been sentenced to two-month pre-trial detention in the occupied Tskhinvali region. The de facto leadership of Georgia’s eastern breakaway Tskhinvali (South Ossetia) region claims that Otinashvili was aiding people “illegally cross the border” between Georgia and Tskhinvali and that she accepted payment for the service.

Two people kidnapped near the occupation line between Georgia and its Russian-occupied region of Tskhinvali (South Ossetia) have been released today. As one of the detainees Eldar Gundishvili said, he was detained while he was grazing his cattle in his own yard.
A Turkish man has been kidnapped in the Russian occupied region of Georgia – Abhazia. Defacto local authorities said strangers kidnapped Captain Selim Kaya in one of the local ports in the town of Ochamchire.
