Georgian President Giorgi Margvelashvili spoke at the 51st public school in central Tbilisi today to voice his kind wishes regarding the new school year which kicked off today.
The people you will get to know at school will become inseparable parts of your lives. I hope you spend your school years merrily and successfully,” Margvelashvili said while addressing pupils.
Margvelashvili paid homage to the memory of two pupils who were killed last year in a school fight.
Tragedy should make us kinder and more tolerant,” Margvelashvili said.
Both Georgian kindergartens and schools began a new academic year today.
