One of the main streets in Vake district of Georgia’s capital of Tbilisi will be completely rehabilitated, announces Tbilisi Mayor Kakha Kaladze.
A total of 1 million GEL will be spent on the rehabilitation of Zakaria Paliashvili street in Tbilisi.
The project includes the rehabilitation of a 1km long street that starts from Gegeshidze Square to the end of Kekelidze Street.
Pavements will be arranged and adapted for the people with disabilities.
Kaladze said that modern street lights will also be installed on Paliashvili Street, and that Tbilisi City Hall is discussing several ideas of the project
“Share Your Idea with Tbilisi Mayor”.
One idea is about a clock to be installed on the giant ferris wheel that is located on Mtastminda, overlooking Tbilisi.
The second idea proposes to inscribe the word ‘TBILISI’ on the slope of Mtatsminda.
