The PM and EU Commissioner have also discussed the importance of launching a regional European school in Georgia. In this light the parties mentioned the reforms planned in the field of education under the new cabinet of the Georgian government which are aimed at ensuring ‘sustainable and inclusive’ economic growth.
"The meeting was very fruitful. The reforms announced by our government are gaining great support from our friends. The firm support of Georgia on its way to EU integration has been once again reiterated. On the other hand we are supported in our economic reforms, especially in the process of transforming our economy in order to ensure that wealth is more equally distributed amongst our citizens”, Mamuka Bakhtadze said while summarising his first official visit to Brussels as the Prime Minister of Georgia.
