Minister of Science and Education Aleksandre Jejelava has been appointed Third Deputy Prime Minister of Georgia.

Prime Minister Giorgi Kvirikashvili announced his appointment at the governmental meeting this morning.

"I want him to coordinate the Government’s public relations and youth policy in cooperation with all relevant agencies”, Kvirikashvili said.

He added that it is important for each citizen to have complete information regarding state policy in this field. The PM added that the Government’s press office will maintain its executive role and Jejelava will cooperate with it in generating new ideas and drafting "a more interesting policy and programs”.
