Georgian PM meets with Irish lawmakers

Georgian Prime Minister Giorgi Kvirikashvili has met with a parliamentary delegation from Ireland.

The sides discussed bilateral relations. The talks touched upon trade and economic cooperation opportunities and developing collaboration in the fields of agriculture, culture, education and tourism.

The Irish lawmakers stressed the progress Georgia has registered on its path to European and Euro-Atlantic integration.

Regional security issues and the situation in Georgia’s Russian-occupied territories were also discussed at the meeting.

The Irish delegation confirmed their strong support for Georgia’s territorial integrity and sovereignty.
