Georgian police detains a man wanted by Interpol

Georgia’s law enforcers have detained a man wanted by Interpol through the request of Spain today.

The detainee, identified only as D.Sh., has been wanted since 2007 for currency and tax stamps fabrication.

The individual, who was born in 1974, is in pre-extradition detention now.

He is a citizen of Israel and was caught by police when trying to enter Georgia.
