Award-winning Georgian pianist Khatia Buniatishvili has performed among world music icons at the Global Citizen Festival in the German city of Hamburg.

Some special performances and surprises coming for everyone attending Global Citizen Festival in Hamburg! It's going to be an amazing celebration of the progress being made to end extreme poverty globally”, Buniatishvili posted on her official Facebook before joining the global music celebration.

Per the Global Citizen’s official webpage, 11,000 global citizens filled the auditorium with electric vibes at Hamburg’s Barclaycard Arena.

Shakira and Coldplay performed unforgettable duets, Pharrell Williams spoke out to the audience about ending extreme poverty. World leaders like Norwegian Prime Minister Erna Solberg and Canadian Prime Minister Justin Trudeau made commitments on women’s health, education, and polio”, the webpage reads.

Global Citizen is a community of people-a place to learn about and take action on the world’s biggest issues.

It has been held prior to the G20 summit where the world leaders gathered to discuss global economic growth, international trade and financial market regulation and other issues that have global impact.

During the concert, musicians drew world leaders' attention to the issues that matter for humanity.
