The Georgian Foreign Minister Mikheil Janelidze has summarised the activities carried out by the ministry from April-June.

Meeting with journalists and non-governmental organisations (NGOs) today, Minister Janelidze spoke about Georgia’s foreign policy developments including its European and Euro-Atlantic aspirations.

Janelidze said Georgia has made giant steps towards bilateral and multilateral diplomacy in the fields of culture and economics.

Three months is not a very long period for diplomacy, but I do believe that in the difficult and constantly changeable environment we reside, a lot of interesting developments happen even in such a short time”, Minister Janelidze said.

The journalists and NGOs also received updates about Georgia’s strategic partnership with the new United States administration under Donald Trump’s presidency, Georgia’s regional policy, protection of the rights of the Georgian citizens living abroad and the steps made for strengthening the ties with diaspora.
