Youth Georgian football team has defeated Sweden with a score of 2 to 1 bringing the first victory to Georgia at the UEFA Under-19 Championship today.

Per the official UEFA webpage, "goals in the first 31 minutes from Giorgi Kokhreidze and Giorgi Kutsia gave Georgia a valuable 2-1 victory against Sweden, their first win in an Under-19 finals.”

After today’s success, the Georgian team will now face with the youth team from the Czech Republic on Saturday, July 8.

UEFA Under-19 Championship is taking place in the Georgian capital of Tbilisi from July 2 until July 15.
