Georgia’s reform of the justice sector and human rights issues were the focus of a meeting today between Prime Minister of Georgia Giorgi Kvirikashvili and head of the European Parliament Legal Affairs Committee Pavel Svoboda.
The two officials met in Georgia’s capital Tbilisi this afternoon.
Georgia’s visa liberalisation efforts to be granted a visa-free regime with the European Union (EU), implementation of the Georgia-EU Association Agreement (AA) and the reforms currently in place to help the country’s quick and effective integration into the Euro-Atlantic space were also discussed by Kvirikashvili and Svoboda today.
I want to thank you for your continued support of Georgia. Your help is very important in our reform process, which is part of the Georgia-EU Association Agreement,” Kvirikashvili told his guest.
Earlier today Svoboda met Georgia’s Parliament Speaker David Usupashvili. He is due to complete his Georgia trip later today.
