The Council of Europe (CoE) will allocate a grant worth €40,000 to support the educational project initiated by Georgia’s Central Election Commission (CEC).
The project titled Election Environment Development School will give Georgian youth the opportunity to undergo a course and gain knowledge on all types of electoral issues.
The CEC believed the project would increase civil engagement and contribute to the promotion of electoral issues among Georgia's youth.
The CEC also said the agency planned to provide more support to boost the CEC's functional and managerial capabilities for the upcoming October 8 Parliamentary Elections and and future elections.
