Georgia "effectively” implements the European Investment Bank’s (EIB) operations, said the bank’s president Werner Hoyer while meeting Georgia’s Prime Minister Giorgi Kvirikashvili.
Today’s meeting was held in Davos, Switzerland within the World Economic Forum.
The sides discussed the implementation process of all EIB infrastructural projects in Georgia.
Hoyer said Georgia was one of the top three non-EU countries who effectively implemented the EIB’s operations.
Hoyer said the bank remained interested in implementing new projects in Georgia that would benefit small and medium-sized businesses.
In total the EIB has invested €480 million in Georgia’s public sector and €165 million in the country’s private sector.
