Premium Italian women’s fashion brand Weekend Max Mara has opened its first store in Georgia in the country’s capital city Tbilisi.
The upscale store, located at 50 Chavchavadze Ave, opened doors at the weekend and presented its spring/summer 2015 collection.
Graphic elements, brush paintings, floral and various flower prints in pastel shades dominated the spring/summer collection.
Black will still be a featured colour but clothing with more blue, white and crimson hues were prominent in the spring/summer look. Clothes were also decorated with embroidered details and Indian features.
Georgia’s Deputy Economy Minister Ketevan Bochorishvili and Italian Ambassador to Georgia Federica Favi attended the Weekend Max Mara opening ceremony on Saturday, April 25.
Max Mara is a luxury Italian fashion house that established in 1951. It is known for its womenswear, accessories and shoes and has stores around the world. Max Mara also retails other fashion lines including Weekend by Max Mara.
Weekend Max Mara has more than 160 stores in Europe, the United States, the United Kingdom, Japan, China, several Eastern European countries and now in Georgia.
