Georgia’s Foreign Minister Tamar Beruchashvili is today beginning her first visit to the United Nations (UN) headquarters in New York, where she will speak about the major issues facing Georgia with UN high officials.
The Ministry’s press office said issues including the Russian-occupied lands of Georgia, the Geneva International Discussions and Moscow’s so-called partnership deals with Sokhumi and Tskhinvali would be the main topics of discussion between Beruchashvili and UN high officials during the Georgian Foreign Minister’s four-day visit.
The parties will also discuss possible ways to further intensify Georgia-UN relations.
