Georgia’s Education Ministry releases 2013-14 infrastructure report

Eight Georgian tertiary institutions were rehabilitated in 2013 and 2014, claimed the Education Ministry.

Georgia’s Ministry of Education has published a list of infrastructural projects that were implemented in the country’s tertiary institutions in the 2013 and 2014 years.

The list noted eight changes. This included:

Tbilisi State Medical University was rehabilitated and equipped with special equipment.

The main building and other buildings were rehabilitated at the Physics Institute at Ivane Javakhishvili Tbilisi State University.

Georgia’s Scientific Library was also rehabilitated.

At Batumi Shota Rustaveli State University, money was allocated to carry out the infrastructural works in the University’s agro-technological faculty.

Also, the education building was repaired at Gori University.

The Zugdidi and Samtskhe-Javakheti State Univestities’ campuses were built and rehabilitated.

The inventory for arranging the agro faculty at Georgian Technical University was rehabilitated. One part of inventory was purchased as well.

Furthermore, the decision to construct a new building for Georgia’s National Centre of Manuscripts was made.
