The European Union (EU) is working on a support package it will offer Georgia, Ukraine and Moldova at the Eastern Partnership (EaP) Summit, which will be held in Riga in May.

This news was announced by Latvian Foreign Minister Edgars Rinkevics after today’s meeting of EU Foreign Ministers in Riga.

"From our point of view, we can work on the package for the three countries who signed Association Agreements, such as Ukraine, Georgia and Moldova,” Rinkevics said.

He added the package would assist the countries with reform implementation.

On a different note, a trilateral meeting between Georgia, Moldova and Ukraine’s Deputy Foreign Ministers will be held in Tbilisi on March 10-11.

The meeting was initiated by Georgia. The parties will discuss their expectations for the upcoming EaP Riga Summit.
