Georgia’s Parliament Speaker David Usupashvili is set to visit the United States of America tomorrow and meet high-ranking US officials.

Usupashvili’s official visit will last for a week and during this time he will meet representatives of US legislative and executive bodies, leading research centres and media.

"Georgia enjoys bipartisan support in both houses of the US Congress and this visit aims to makes this support even stronger,” said David Kereselidze, Georgia’s Foreign Ministry’s spokesperson when he announced Usupashvili’s US visit earlier today.

He noted the Georgian Parliament Speaker’s US meetings would be focused on Georgia’s security issues, democratic development and the strategic partnership between the two countries.
