Information about the Georgian Government is available in Abkhazian language.
According to the Government Chancellery press center, every news concerning governmental activity will be published in Abkhazian language on the governments official webpage.
The Abkhazian language section has already existed on the Georgian Governments web page however the news hasnt been available until today.
Abkhazia is a breakaway region of Georgia. The split happened after the War in Abkhazia, located on the eastern coast of the Black Sea.
Georgia’s Prime Minister Giorgi Kvirikashvili stated at today’s governmental meeting that the Georgian Dream government is creating a state program to protect and develop the Abkhazian language, the language of the Georgian region which is now occupied by Russia.
