Georgia’s economy could soon get a boost after a number of Qatar investors have shown their interest in investing in Georgia.
Today, representatives from the Qatar Chamber of Commerce met with the Prime Minister of Georgia to discuss trade and investment potentials in Georgia.
Prime Minister Irakli Garibashvili believed Georgia could offer diverse business opportunities in a range of fast developing sectors, including hydro energy, agriculture, tourism, real estate, industry, logistics and more.
The Georgian side also provided the potential investors with essential information about the stable macroeconomic environment and liberal tax system.
Garibashvili focused on Georgia’s "exceptional and favourable location” – at the crossroads of Western Asia and Eastern Europe.
