Soviet-banned books on display at National Library

Books banned in Soviet period will be exhibited in the National Library in a section called Museum of Repressed Books.

Books banned in Georgia during the Soviet era have been recovered from their forgotten homes and restored, and are set to go on display at the National Parliamentary Library of Georgia.

The books will be exhibited in the library in a section called Museum of Repressed Books.

The Museum of Repressed Books housed a variety of items, but particularly books, that have been preserved. The recovered books were found to be banned during the Soviet times.
