Georgia has "strictly condemned” a recent terrorist attack on a mosque in Nigeria’s northern state of Kano, which left at least 120 people dead.
On Monday the Foreign Ministry of Georgia issued a written statement that said all offenders responsible for the horrendous crime needed to be brought to justice.
"The Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Georgia conveys its condolences to the families of the terrorism victims and to the Nigerian people as a whole and expresses hope that the perpetrators of these attacks will be brought to justice,” the statement read.
On Friday two bombs exploded shortly after hundreds of people had gathered to listen to a Friday Payers sermon at the Grand Mosque in Kano, situated 423km north of the capital Abuja.
At least 120 people lost their lives and around 270 others were injured in the explosions.
