President Margvelashvili announces Austria visit

Within his Austria visit, the Georgian President is scheduled to meet a number of world leaders.

President of Georgia Giorgi Margvelashvili is starting his working visit to Austria today.

Margvelashvili will take part in the United Nations (UN) conference of Landlocked Developing Countries (LLDCs).

A discussion on the economic-structural achievements of these countries will also be held within the framework of the forum.

The Georgian President will be one of the main rapporteurs of the thematic panel, together with the President of Montenegro, the Swedish International Development Minister and the UN Development Program Administrator.

Margvelashvili will attend the discussion on the topic "Business decisions in order to overcome challenges of development" at the Austria Trade Chamber.

Moreover, Margvelashvili was scheduled to hold meetings with President of Austria Heinz Fischer, President of the National Council Karlheinz Kopf, UN Secretary-General Ban Ki-moon, UN Food and Agriculture Organisation Director General Jose Graziano da Silva, OSCE Secretary General Lamberto Zannier and other world leaders.

Before closing his Austria visit, the Georgian President will give interviews to local media.
