Ten cows were detained this morning, in what appears to be a first for the country, after they were found wandering in central city streets in Kutaisi, a western Georgian city where the country’s Parliament is located.
The animals have been taken to a penalty parking place, reported local news agency Pirveli. The cows will be returned to their owners once a fine is paid.
Kutaisi City Hall’s Cleaning Service said the cows were walking along the central city streets without supervision of their owners.
