The Prime Minister of Georgian Irakli Garibashvili will pay an official visit to Armenia on August 21 and 22.
According to his official schedule, Garibashvili will visit his Armenian counterpart Hovik Abrahamyan, after which an expanded meeting between Georgian and Armenian Government representatives will be held.
Once the meeting has ended, the Georgian leader will address the media before attending an official dinner, hosted by Prime Minister Abrahamyan.
Within the visit Garibashvili will also meet the President of Armenia Serzh Sargsyan. Following this the Georgian delegation will attend a formal dinner with the President Sargsyan.
Members of the Georgian delegation are scheduled to visit a brandy factory in the Armenian capital Yerevan and inspect ancient exhibits in the Manuscripts Institute.
The Georgian delegation, led by PM Garibashvili, will consist of Georgia’s Minister of Foreign Affairs, Minister of Economy, Minister of Energy, Parliament Member Ruslan Pogosian, Deputy Head of Government Administration Nino Kobakhidze and Chairman of the Crisis Management and Security Council Mindia Janelidze.
