Electric supply restored in Batumi

According to the Minister of Energy, Kakha Kaladze, the continuous electricity supply has been restored in Batumi city and surrounding area.

Also, according to Energo-Pro Georgia, which is responsible for electricity supply in the regions of the country, the 110 kV transmission lines have been restored to solve the problem of the power supply to Batumi. Hovever, three districts, Khulo, Qeda and Shuakhevi are still without electricity supply, according to the Ministry.

"Repairs at nine damaged transmission towers  are needed and the technical teams are in 24 hour work mode. Consequently, the power supply to those districts will be restored in the soon, the Ministry stated.
