Weather Station forecast -22°C in mountainous Georgia

The electricity has been intermittently restored to Batumi and villages of Adjara due to heavy snow. The mountainous regions of Adjara are covered with as much as 150 cm of snow.

The travel conditions are still restricted on the highways in Adjara. The rescues brigades, that are on a 24-hours working schedule to remove snow from the roads.

The National Weather Station forecast frost in the West Georgia on December 14. During the nighttime hours the temperature may fall to -22 Celsius in the mountainous regions and -6 in Tbilisi. Snow had been predicted in Tbilisi and East Georgia on December 12.
