PM Irakli Garibashvili formed Economic Council

The council also requested the President of the National Bank of Georgia to be included in its work.

Georgian PM Irakli Garibashvili has formed the Economic Council to address economic issues in the country which will be in the agenda. The first meeting of the newly formed Economic Council was held today at PMs office.

The council consists of twelve members and among them Economy field ministers, head of the Partnership Fund of Georgia, DG of Georgian Railway, head of the Georgian Co-Investment Fund, and Business ombudsman.

According to the press office of the PM, the council also requested the President of the National Bank of Georgia to be included in its work.

At todays meeting, the council has discussed current economic issues and prospects of economic development in the country.
