The roadmap for Armenia's accession to the Customs Union to be signed

The Roadmap for Armenia's accession to the Customs Union will be signed on December 24 in the Eurasian Integration Unions building in Moscow.

According to Ria Novosti, a representative of the Russian President Vladimir Putins delegation stated on December 2 during Putin paying visit in Armenia.

Not citing the name of the source, Ria Novosti quoted that the two countries are working on the document which will be signed by the Presidents of the two countries.

As the result of the negotiations, Armenias President Serzh Sargsyan and Putin confirmed the aim of further develop the economic integration process in the Eurasian territory.

For the first time, the president of Russia in Armenia was met with slogans "Go Home. Several hundred people marched in Yerevan and at the cost of clashes with police, showed that Armenia is not only its government but that is not "ready for anything fromor Russia. According to the police, 110 people were taken to police stations on that day.

Russias President Vladimir Putinsaid that Russia will strengthen its positions in South Caucasus while addressing the third Russian-Armenian Interregional Forum in Gyumri, Armenias second-largest town which hosts Russias 102nd military base.  

"As far as Transcaucasus is concerned, Russia has never intended to go away from here. On the contrary, we are going to strengthen our positions in the Transcaucasus. We will be strengthening our positions in the Transcaucasus drawing upon all the best that we have inherited from our ancestors, drawing upon on good relationship with all the countries of the region, including with Armenia, Putin said.

Russia plans to launch the Eurasian Union in 2015, Kyrgyzstan and Armenia have also expressed readiness to join the union.
