The GeorgianPresident Giorgi Margvelashvili met with the Vice-Marshal of the Senate of the Republic of Poland, CezaryGrabarczyk.
According to the Presidents press office, the two parties have discussed the bilateral relations between Georgia and Poland and the success achieved by Georgia at the Vilnius Summit.
They also mentioned prospects of a visit by the President of Georgia to Poland and the return visit of the President of Poland to Georgia. As agreed, Poland will actively cooperate with Georgia on legislative and executive levels for the next year, until formally signing the Association Agreement.
As Vice-Marshal Grabarczyk said, Poland is ready to further strengthen the relations with Georgia.
"It was particularly interesting to meet the President of Georgia after the Vilnius Summit, where your country initialed the Association Agreement. We are ready to strengthen our relations with Georgia in all the directions which are needed for its development, Grabarczyk said.
