Senior Official of Penitentiary system is detained

The head of the Ministry of Correction and Legal Assistance investigative department, Zurab Vardidze was detained on November 27.

According to the press center of the General Prosecution, Zurab Vardidze is charged for the excess of authority.

The Ministry of Correction and Legal Assistance has not made any comments about Vardidzes arrest.
