Georgian Foreign Affairs Minister visiting Bulgaria

Upcoming Vilnius Summit, Georgian perspectives for Euro and Euro-Atlantic integration, and bilateral relations were the main issues discussed at the meeting of the Georgian Foreign Affairs Minister and the Bulgarian President.
President Rosen Pleveliev confirmed Bulgarias support to Georgia on its way to Euro-integration. He also expressed his positive attitudes toward NATOs Open Door Policy.
Rosen Pleveliev also offered Maia Panjikidze to collaborate on economic, energetics, transportation, and cultural issues.
Russian-Georgian relations had also been discussed during the meeting. Bulgarian President expressed his support to Georgias territorial unity within its internationally recognized borders.
Georgia and Bulgaria are intensifying bilateral relations. Georgia’s Prime Minister Irakli Garibashvili has left for the Bulgarian capital Sofia today, where he will be welcomed by Prime Minister Boyko Borissov.
Bulgaria has reconfirmed its "firm support” for Georgia’s visa free travel to Europe and the country’s western aspirations. Bulgaria’s Prime Minister Boyko Borissov voiced words of support as he hosted his Georgian counterpart Irakli Garibashvili in Sofia today.
