Giorgi Margvelashvili gave his last interview with the status of President-elect to the Associated Press and discussed Georgias future internal politics and relations with northern neighbor, Russia.
"The main issue is to involve me in the aggressive dialog with Russia, as the previous government did. We have seen that aggression as diplomatic language hasnt positive consequences. stated Giorgi Margvelashvili.
Margvelashvili emphasized that the major goal of the government should be the economic progress.
"We have consolidated, diplomatic processes, but if we shouldnt improve economic environment, if we shouldnt support the business development and the poverty reduction, our every achievement will be in vain.
The President-elect also mentioned that he will always listen to the outgoing Prime Minister Bidzina Ivanishvili because of his respect toward him.
"Bidzina Ivanishvili has a big influence on me, because I trust him. said Giorgi Margvelashvili.
