Mayor of Tbilisi Gigi Ugulava stated that he will not attend the new Presidents Swearing-in Ceremony, although he was invited officially.
"I respect our citizens choice, thats why I congratulated him after the results of the elections revealed. But I dont want to attend this inauguration ceremony. I dont want to be involved in the celebration of that person, who cant detect, who is enemy and who is friend. Gigi Ugulava said.
The parliamentary minority, the United National Movement (UNM) stated that no one from this party will appear at the inauguration ceremony on November 17. In the official letter, published on November 15, the UNM members mentioned, the attendance of inauguration ceremony is inappropriate for them, because the President-elect doesnt approve so called cohabitation.
