Nino Burjanadze calls upon the Georgian Government to investigate Zhvania's case

Ex-Speaker of Parliament, Nino Burjanadze announced that she wont be surprised if Saakashvili and his gang participated in the murder of Georgias former Prime Minister Zurab Zhvania.

In an interview with a Georgian newspaper, she says that if the Georgian government will have courage to start investigation against Saakashvilis regime, there will be no single politician left in the world who will defend the president and his mob.

"There are a lot of questions regarding the death of Zurab Zhvania and this case must be investigated. At first, it seemed impossible for me to doubt the official version of the death, but then I saw what Saakashvili and his regime is capable of and found out about number of suspicious circumstances. So naturally, I have many questions now. I would definitely not be surprised if Zurab Zhvania was murdered and Saakashvili and his gang participated in it, commented Burjanadze.

Nino Burjanadze was the Speaker of Parliament in February 2005, when Zurab Zhvania passed away. She remained at her post until June 2008. After 2008, she founded a political party Democratic Movement United Georgia and started opposing President Mikheil Saakashvili. In October 2013, she participated in presidential elections and gained 10.19% of votes.

Currently, she remains in opposition with the government and the ruling party "Georgian Dream.
