Saveur magazine to highlight Georgia gastronomic tourism potential

Georgia’s potential in gastronomic tourism will be highlighted in an article in Saveur, an online magazine for gourmets, in the Georgian National Tourism Administration’s continued efforts of promoting the country to prospective visitors across the world.

The GNTA said on Thursday the magazine centred on food, wine, and travel would publish the article following a recent visit of Neal Santos, a popular American photojournalist to capital Tbilisi and the nearby historical capital of Mtskheta.

Santos was introduced to Georgian food and wine during his trip, and his snaps will be used for a special piece on 15 “essential dishes” from Georgia.

With its showcases of national cuisines, Saveur has over two million followers on social media and 1.2 million unique monthly visitors on its website.
