Georgia's adventure tourism attractions are promoted in a new article by Bloomberg, with the country's natural environments and landscapes introduced to travellers who like to “generate a little adrenaline”.

The article highlights geographical characteristics of the country, such as over half of its territory being located 900 metres above sea level, and the landscape’s domination by the Caucasus - "the sublime, mythical and sometimes fearsome chain of mountains that runs along its northern border".

Georgian mountainous areas of Kazbegi, Bakuriani and Svaneti are promoted for hiking and skiing amateurs, while the country's canyoning and rafting experiences are described as "something crazy".

Bloomberg suggests several trails in the capital city of Tbilisi as well, with the trips taking the hikers to the hilltop Turtle Lake and the iconic TV Tower perched above the city.
