New Eastern Europe: “One Georgia, Many Europes”

Georgian politician and diplomat Tedo Japaridze wrote piece of opinion where he highlighted Georgia’s European aspiration and its place in European family.

"2015 will be another significant year in determining where Georgia is in this political landscape,” wrote Chair of the Foreign Relations Committee of the Parliament of Georgia Tedo Japaridze for the online news magazine New Eastern Europe, focused on Central and Eastern European affairs.

There is only one Georgia; there is more than one vision of Europe. Ultimately, if we were to ask someone in Brussels where precisely Georgia is, the answer would range from "somewhere in Eastern Europe” to "an Eastern Partnership country in the Caucasus.
