What does a Georgian, an Australian, a Fijian and a Kiwi athlete have in common? 

They have all been named on a reputable list as some of the 10 most exciting players to watch at the 2015 Rugby World Cup.

The prestigious tournament will begin on Friday in the United Kingdom. Georgia will take to the pitch on day two of the competition to take on Tonga in the first game of their RWC campaign.

Georgia’s own Mamuka Gorgodze was named on the PlanetRugby.com list as one of the most 10 most exciting players to watch at the 2015 Rugby World Cup.

The Georgian wrecking ball has carved out a reputation in France and Europe for being one of the fiercest competitors around.

A real inspiration for the Lelos at number eight, Gorgodze will captain his country in England and should be found shruggling off tacklers while leading by example. If only Georgia had more like him. Many countries would love to have Gorgodze in their side.”
