The eighth Dubai Art Fair took place from March 19-22, 2014, at Madinat Jumeirah.

The Popiashvili Gvaberidze Window Project was presented with nine pieces of art from Georgian artists on an international scale at the Dubai Art Fair, in the Marker section. Khaniashvili’s 2010 ‘Venus’, a wood figurine with an androgynous body and a head painted in the style of a female Byzantine saint, criticizes the Georgian Orthodox Church’s opposition to the country’s LGBTQ community.
